How the Nexus 7 2 stacks up against the iPad Mini

As with most Android tablets launched, there has to be a comparison against one of Apple’s iPad. As the Nexus 7 features a 7 inch display it’s most matched with Apple’s miniature iPad which is outfitted with a 7.9 inch display. But how does the latest Nexus 7 from Google match up against Apple’s iPad Mini spec wise? The first noticeable difference will of course be in the screen size, the iPad Mini’s screen is 0.9 inches bigger but, whether that’s better or not, ... Continue Reading →

Nexus 7 Snugg case review

Recently I managed to get myself acquainted with one of the exciting Asus Google Nexus 7 tablets and one of the first things I do when I get a new gadget is immediately look for a case for it (along with a screen protector). I’m a big fan of The Snugg cases for the Apple iPad and was pleased to see that the company also had a portfolio case for the 7 inch Nexus tablet and have been fortunate enough to have the chance to review the case. From experience, I know that Snugg make excellent cases ... Continue Reading →

Nexus 7 32GB model on the way?

When Google announced their own tablet, they unveiled that it would be available in 8GB and 16GB variants, with no memory card slot. While the 16GB should be enough for most, there are some, myself included who find 16GB just isn’t enough. For those who have held off getting one due to this reason, you may be in luck. It appears that Google will be releasing a 32GB model and according to UK retailer Argos, it will retail for the same price as the 16GB model, which will be discontinued once ... Continue Reading →
