VIA announces ‘NetNote’

Intel are already working on bridging the gap between netbooks and notebooks with the CULV devices, making use of the NVIDIA ION chipset. HP unveil 11.6 inch netbook

HP have revealed their latest netbook/mini notebook. The HP Mini 311 features an 11.6 inch display with HD resolution, 1GB of RAM, 160GB HDD and an Intel Atom N270 CPU. The screen size isn’t the only thing which sets this netbook apart and puts it more in the CULV range. The Mini 311 also features the latest NVIDIA ION chipset technology. MSI Wind U200 up for pre-order

MSI’s first CULV machine will begin shipping late this month/beginning of September. The U200 follows on from the popular MSI Wind U100 which has been rebadged for several companies, but the U200 takes the netbook to the next level with CULV technology. The U200 features the Intel 1.3GHz Pentium US2700 processor, a 320GB hard drive and 4GB of RAM. The CULV PC borders on netbook size with a 12 inch display.
